Residential and Commercial Dryer Vent Service
Dryer vent service will help eliminate clogged dryer vents which are a major cause of household and business fires. Dryer vent service needs to become a common annual household and office maintenance service just like having and oil change or a tune-up done on your vehicle. Many people think that keeping the lint screen clean on their dryers’ is all they need to do. The truth is that the back-up and accumulation of lint from the the dryer, through the walls, and up to the point of exiting the house is where you find the real hidden dangers. You may notice warning signs and minor issues with your dryer, it is our belief and recommendation that the best solution is to schedule annual service and cleaning.
it doesn’t matter if your dryer vent is partially clogged or fully clogged, keeping it clean is important. By keeping the vent fully cleaned at all times; you are keeping your home safe, your business safe and you are keeping you loved ones safe. A clean dryer vent will also improve your home efficiency by saving money on electric and/or gas bills.
Warning Signs of a Clogged Dryer Vent
Longer Drying Times
Is it taking longer than normal for your clothes to dry? Do you have to run the same load multiple times? Make sure the clothes are properly spun when moving them from the washing machine to the dryer. If the cloths are spun properly this likely indicates a clogged dryer vent.
Wet Clothes and Lint Screen
If you find that your cloths are not fully dry or if the lint screen is damp after an extended drying time, this is another indicator that you have a clogged dryer vent.
Lint Build-Up at House Vent Exit
If you notice lint built up at the exit vent or bunched up in the bird screen guard, there is a good chance your dryer vent is clogged.
